Historic-style building, neat and updated rooms with shower, the hot tub and a king bed. Clean facilities there. All in all marvellous setting not far from Wal-mart next light down, and fast food chains.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a good selection including sausage, fresh fruit, juice, and pastries.

This was a very positive stay as a short vacation. The location in the Mathews area was good and peaceful for us. And there was Wendy's with short-orders not too far from the venue, super convenient.

The rooms were brand-new & neat with a fridge and microwave. Hotel's location was good and absolutely perfect, in the Mathews area. Further, it was just off restaurants and Wal-mart next light down as well as stores.

Staff welcoming, kind, and helpful. Clean rooms for the price. Good breakfast with waffles, sausage, eggs, and more. Friendly front desk and housekeeping. Modern lobby and breakfast area.

The people are friendly

You used to have smoking rooms, I don't smoke but my husband does. He looks at it as discimination. He did notice you let a dog with fleas stay in rooms but he could not smoke.We have stayed there several times in the past but not sure I can get him to go again

It was quiet and conveniently located

The variety of breakfast foods was fine, but the coffee wasn't good and hot!

The room had great lighting, a comfortable bed, and a functional air conditioner and fan. The hotel provided a microwave and refrigerator, which exceeded my expectations. The breakfast room had simple but adequate options and was open until 10 AM, giving me more time to enjoy my meal. The staff, particularly Lakisha at reception and Patricia the cleaning lady, were friendly and provided excellent service.

This place is conveniently located close to restaurants, a Wal-mart, and attractions like Yorktown and Williamsburg, set in a charming wooded area.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Gloucester! Firstly, the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Secondly, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, which were well stocked with all the essentials I needed. The location was also fantastic, being close to the coast and within easy reach of restaurants and other amenities. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, with rooms equipped with a fridge and microwave, a spa tub, a roll-in shower, and a comfortable king bed. And to top it all off, breakfast was included, making it excellent value for money.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.
